Viking Wines is one of the smaller enterprises in the heart of Marananga, Barossa Valley. The estate is one of the very few old and biodynamic dry-grown vineyards left in the Barossa Valley.
Wines extracted from such grapes produce the full flavour of a true Barossa red, reflecting the distinctive characters of the rich soil and sun-drenched vineyards of the pristine area of Marananga.
Vinified by the new generation, the fruit is hand-picked, open fermented, gently basket pressed, followed by maturation in American and French Oak, slowly racked over time, and finally bottled after approximately 24 months. A benchmark wine with great personality!
